Pumice Stone

Lightweight volcanic rock. Used for drainage and air circulation

To create your own succulent potting mix, combine sand, soil, and pumice in a ratio of 2 parts sand to 2 parts soil to 1 part pumice. Using cups as measurements, this translates to 3 cups each of sand and soil, and 1.5 cups of pumice.

The addition of pumice aids in soil aeration, and assists in nutrient retention
